[KLUG Members] gedit and wordwrap

I'm using gedit a lot and finding myself switching often between
wordwrap-on and wordwrap-off. The inconvenience is that it takes 5 mouse
clicks each time, since the command is burried under Edit -> Preferences
->View + one click to change the setting and one to get back to the
document.

Is there a way to customize gedit to get that commend on the menubar or
toolbar?
