I played with a windows box using 3G and it looked like it was IE only
(some type of IE plugin/extension). I was at the box because it (or
something) was monkeying up web pages downloaded over the VPN connection
the user had established over the dial-up connection. I just removed
everything non-standard I could find in Windows and IE (extensions) and
the problem went away - maybe his 3x-dial-up-speeds did too.
