If you use arkeia, then you might find that it is horribly annoying to
use the gui to get all your tape statistics.


I've co-written a script and added two more (probably unnecessary)
scripts to spit out the contents of the library, the tape label, the
slot, and the retention date of the arkeia tape.

You can run this from cron and get all the info you need on your
library.  Those of us who need to rotate tapes out on a weekly basis
know that finding all this info from the gui is a pain.

Assuming you edit your paths and pool name, it should work as
advertised. I think this script will save me around an hour or so a week
of arkeia fiddling. Please refrain from commenting on correctness and
form of the scripts - these are utilities, not works of art.
