Well I seem to have gotten it working by changing the umask in my fstab
file to 000 and uid=eric and gid=eric.

Now I have another problem: one document (a simple text file from gedit)
won't copy--I get a "Invalid parameter while copying..." message. Anyone
have any ideas?
