Hello,

I'm trying to configure my linux workstation to support password policy within
ldap. More specifically, on my ldap server I have min number of chars in
password = 8, and the ldap server remembers the last 5 passwords that were
set.

Okay, linux workstation I configured ldap.
No I'm able to login to my workstation as a user that's on the ldap server and
not local to that workstation. However, when change the passwd, I can change
to it to a password that's:
  1) less than 8 chars
  2) a password that I previously set it to 1 password ago.

Is there something special in pam, I need to set(ie.
/etc/pam.d/system-auth)

Thanks

Regards,

Komal
