The HP nc8000 works great with linux. I run Kubuntu Dapper with VMWare Server and everything works out of the box. It also has
great screen resolution of 1400x1050. I was reading that some of the newer HP's offer 1600x1200 on 15.4" screens.

Wireless works great with and without WEP. Hibernate and power Standby work as well, and so does cpu throttling!
