[KLUG Members] installing printer on Ubuntu 6.06 run disc

What am I doing wrong?
Trying to install an Epson C86 printer which the print wizard finds.  
Started at System > administration > printing. At screen 1, make sure
"local printer" and "use detected printer" are checked (the printer
finds and identifies the C86). Forward to screen 2, again printer is
id'd.  In version 5 all I did was change to C84 as it was better
supported then hit forward to screen 3 then hit finish
and the printer was installed automatically.  But when I do it in ver. 6
nothing happens.  No install.  If I hit the "install driver" button in
screen 2, it just opens my home file???????  What do I need to do here?
