Yes.

Copy/paste the command into a shell window, or type it.  :-)

The vertical bar is normally* the SHIFT-Backslash, 
between ENTER and BACKSPACE.  

* (normal keyboard, laptops may vary)

This isn't what you wanted but what am I doing wrong here?  I entered her password after the word "password" and hit enter.
