Oh, what file system on your drives? Probably not XFS... there was a bug in
Samba's 3.0.14 but before Debian Sarge went into the deep freeze (aka went
stable) that was squashed in their 3.0.14... and we run XFS... so I have to be
a bit careful about flat suggesting 3.0.14 just in case someone else is running
XFS but not on Debian Sarge. Need I remind "life gets complicated"?
