Create a filesystem on it. It should then be available in the
"Computer" view of nautilus. Create an archive of /home
(something.tar), expand the archive on the new filesystem, wipe out the
contents of the new filesystem, and then set the mount point for the new
filesystem as /home. I assume Ubuntu offers some partition/filesystem
manager that will let you do all this via point-n-click. In SuSe I'd
move the partitions around in Yast.
