Go into Yast2, pick "System", and then "Power Management".

Otherwise you are probably looking at something to do with the
"powersaved" process, and you should be able to "man powersaved" and
look at the files in /etc/sysconfig/powersave

As for as tweaking ACPI goes - no way. ACPI makes one want to renounce
technology and go join a monastic order up in a mountain somewhere. To
make matters even worse most of the ACPI4Linux documentation is in a
Wiki and these days every time I see a Wiki I have to fight the urge to
slip into a catatonic state where I drool all over my shirt. I despise
Wikis. That and it is an even dumber word than "blog", which every time
I hear that one on NPR I have to fight the onset of road rage. Yes, I
probably need professional help - but I'm having way too much fun.
