[KLUG Members] VP of Linux from Novell at The Big Event - Jan. 20

Hi All,

Since I have lost my brain and can't remember thought I'd send this bit
of information on.  WMNUG's The Big Event on the 20th has had a change
from the origianl keynote speaker.  Nancy Faigen (one of our first
choices), VP and GM of the Linux Impact Team for Novell Americas will be
on hand to discuss what Novell's plans are for the future Linux
initiatives they're working on.

In addition to the keynote, several technical sessions will be going
on, including one on Novell Linux Desktop.   The details can be obtained
at www.wmnug.org, or email me and I'll forward you the invitation and
sessions schedule.  We have over 30 IT vendors on site this year,
including CA, EMC, and Cisco.

Unfortunately, our web designer has a fondness for MacroMedia Flash and
our website doesn't show up using FireFox or Mozilla, so a link to the
registration form has been added to the default MacroMedia page.  That
link is viewable.

The event is free of charge and open to the public, and I would love to
get some ideas on Linux-focused vendors that the Linux community might
like to see at this event next year.  Or speaker ideas would be good
too.  We originally had Nat Friedman lined up, but his schedule changed
and he'll be out of the country.
