We haven't had anyone step forward yet, to my knowledge, to take over
gatemaster responsibilities when I leave. I'm not certain that I'll be
able to make the remaining meetings this month after tonight, as I'll be
busy preparing to move. So the need is pressing. 

The key task of the gatekeeper, as I see it, is to ensure that someone
is at the Chamber at 6pm. It needn't be oneself each week. In the past
there have been a number of people willing to do it on occasion.
