Here is an actual review of the new GNOME -
http://www.linux.com/article.pl?sid=06/03/17/0350228 A pretty complete
review except the author says some really puzzling things: (1) "Ekiga
itself has undergone sweeping changes, and now sports video and voice
over IP" (2) "Its [Beagle] largest drawback is its sluggish performance
on Reiser filesystems" (3) "Integrating other functions, such as file
compression, into Nautilus would also make sense,"

[1] - Ekiga (formerly) GNOME Meeting has been a full voice/video over IP
application from DAY ONE, something like three or four YEARS ago.
[2] This just doesn't make any sense. Did he test it on other
filesystems? As I understand it Beagle works via GNOME-VFS.
[3] This is there already, and has been for awhile; the author is
recommending it as a new feature.

But very cool is: (1) "Usefully, Evolution, also supports memos now,"
Yay! (2) Evolution's address book is now integrated with Ekiga.(3)
Pessulus & Sabayon, <cough>finally the LINUX desktop has something that
can at least compete with NT4's POLEDIT </cough> The use of xnest in
this case is very cool, I wish I could do that on Windows!
