[KLUG Members] Segfault when trying to use ldap to resolve hostnames

Hello,
When changing the hosts section of nsswitch.conf to "files ldap dns" all
functions which attempt to do a dns lookup will fail with a Segfault.

If the entry being looked up is in the hosts file, the dns query will succeed.
