[KLUG Members] PDF instead of HTML output from PHP

I've been asked to supply output from a website in PDF form, rather 
than HTML, from a LAPP (Linux/Apache/PHP/PostgreSQL) server. The 
problem is one of the best we can have... it is not that there are
too few solutions, there are too many!

Please post your comments about writing PDF output from PHP - how
you project progressed, what tools you have used (and of course,
which are helpful and which are forgettable), and why you went the
PDF route.
