[KLUG Members] Apache/HTTP Problem: Virtual Host Freakout

What would make a previously working name-based Virtual Host on a
testing server suddenly start showing the "Test Page for Apache" page,
like what you get when you first set up Apache and browse to the IP
address of the machine? A different Virtual Host on the same machine
still does work. I didn't do anything to the server between Friday, when
it was last working, and today, when I discovered there was a problem.
Browsing to yet another Virtual Host that used to be working is giving
me a "server not found" error in the browser.

I have checked the following:

1.) my local hosts file -- the hostnames I'm using for the virtual hosts
are there, and pointing to the proper IP (internal)
2.) my server IP (interal) is the one in my local hosts file
3.) I checked my httpd.conf for each of the virtual hosts to confirm the
hostnames were correct, pointing to a directory that exists and has my
web files
