Hi Nik!
I'm not sure what it was but it sounded like a permission error to me
as well. In the intervening time I had rebooted because of my annoying
suspend problem. I checked the spooler and found a pile of stuff in
there. Who knew??? I tried to print that particular document
again before removing the items. It worked?!? So I deleted the items
anyway. They may be left over from me trying to set up my printer? I'll
try and remember to check later this week to see if the file grows. If
it does I'll have to chase down the cause then.
Just so you know, I'm trying to chase down all the little annoyances
that either cause my system to hang or simply generate error messages in
the log files. I've been slowly working my way; successfully; through
the log files. Rest assured you'll hear from me soon! I've got
permission to install Linux on my sweethearts computer; which is a twin
to mine; but I feel I need to finish the final polish first.

Peter
