[KLUG Members] multiple wireless networks

When there are multiple wireless networks available (e.g. in an
apartment building), how do I see in Linux what they are and choose
which one I want to use?  Windows has a little icon that lets you see
available networks. I haven't found anything like that in Fedora Core 4
with Gnome. Presumably there's a command line procedure to get that
information.
