All good recommendations. gThumb is already loaded (tho it didn't show
up in the Gnome menu bar until after I opened it (by selecting
Applications/Run application and guessing that the correct command was
'gthumb')).  I'll investigate the other suggested programs later; need
to do a project for tomorrow.
