[KLUG Members] Banshee and 30Gb Video iPod

have a look at gtkpod.

i use kde with my ipod and konqueror has built-in extensions for use with an ipod. i basically 
drag-n-drop files to a mounted ipod and then click the transfer button. it works flawlessly for me. 
as an alternative, i have used amarok with success.

i am afraid i cannot offer much help to you as far as banshee goes. sorry.
