This has given reliable wirless capability since it's installation approximately 2 months ago. Suddenly I have lost that connectivity. Now when I right click on K-Internet I am only given the option of "modem", when previously I'd had the options of both "modem" and "Wireless LAN". I can still get on line via ether net connection. Any ideas about how I might regain the Wireless LAN Dialog box?.

You no longer see the wireless connection in K-internet because the wireless driver is no longer working, so the system does not see the wireless device, and no longer does K-internet.

This probably happened due to a kernel update which renders the previously working NDIS wrapper driver unusable under the new kernel. Do a 'sudo cat /var/log/messages |grep ndis' (at the command line/terminal), and post the results here.

Also send the output if 'sudo ifconfig' and 'sudo iwconfig'.

I have no simple suggestion for restoring the functionality of your wireless card, but will fix it at a general assistance meeting (there may be a 'permanent' solution for your wireless adapter now) as new wireless drivers are being added all the time.
