I looked for the music on the iPod by song and can't find them.

If I understand Spanish i would keep them.

  It (the music) seemed to be deleted from where?  And when you plug the ipod back in, it (the music) is where?  Visible in Banshee?

It seem to be deleted in Banshee but when i reconnect the iPod all the musi show up in Banshee.

Try gtkpod and compare your results.  What linux are you using?

I am running SLED 10
