[KLUG Members] USB to PCMCIA (CardBus) adaptor :: Open Source Drivers?

Should be the same as any other simple USB volume device.  I haven't had a single issue with any laptops with regard to PCMCIA.  Just check that when you use it that it shows under /proc/bus/usb/devices (I believe that's the correct path but I know it's under /proc/bus, as distros may vary).

Hey there,

Before I purchase a USB device that provides a PCMCIA slot ( ya know, for a 
laptop that doesn't have a PCMCIA slot), it seems only responsible to see if 
any linux users have had experience with these thingies -- all of them I have 
found so far are specifically for 'windblows' only.

Any tips, pointers?
