I'll be attending the meeting on Tues 2/5 at 7pm for the first time. I am brand
new to Linux, but have worked with HP-UX for many years as an Oracle DBA. My interests include Ubuntu vs Red Hat, file system backup storage, linux installs on a Mac platform, virtualization, etc. Are you planning on attending this evening?

Hello,

I just moved to Portage from Austin, Texas.  I was born and raised in Lansing, so I've been gone on a hiatus from Michigan for about five years.  Before leaving for Austin, I was a Linux admin for Liquid Web Inc.  While in Austin, I was able to provide Linux administration/development services for several semiconductor companies (AMD, Spansion, International Sematech, etc).  I'm looking forward to contributing to the group in any way I can.
