The only thing I can do is advise on the differences that give me the 
most trouble when switching between them.  When entering a formula in OO 
you use a semicolon to separate parts of the function:  if(test; 
true_value; false_value).   Excel uses a comma there instead.  Also, I 
think excel lets you start a function with @ where OO insists on an 
equals.  Since OO's excel file-compatibility has gotten almost flawless 
in the last couple of releases, my excel lore is actually a bit rusty.
