*2008-02-26 - Presentation Schedule Meeting*
A meeting to develop our presentation schedule for the coming months

We meet weekly, each Tuesday at 7 PM.

Our meeting site is The Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce in downtown
Kalamazoo.We have detailed
maps <http://kalamazoolinux.org/meetings/maps.php3> to our meeting location.

We conduct formal presentations and business meetings about once a month.
Other meetings are informal work shops. Be sure visit our presentation
schedule <http://kalamazoolinux.org/meetings/schedule.php3> page for a
current list of future events.

Some of our past presentations
<http://kalamazoolinux.org/presentations/>have included foils and
handouts and are available for review, further
questions, and to see what level of presentations we have had so far.

We usually have a laptop running Linux at each meeting to demonstrate Linux
and help answer any Linux related questions. We also are happy to help
anyone install Linux at a meeting. We have successfully installed Linux a
number of times in the past. Just let us know in advance by sending email to
our installmaster <installmaster at kalamazoolinux.org>, so we can plan for it,
and bring your PC to the meeting. We have also helped people set up Linux
services at meetings. At one meeting we installed networking on a PC someone
brought in. We configured the network card, installed NFS, FTP, and Apache
Web server. We used the all these networking functions on the PC, right at
the meeting, by connecting it to our Laptop with a 10BaseT crossover network
cable.

You may purchase <http://kalamazoolinux.org/cd/> many major Linux
distributions burned on CDR at meetings if you let us know in advance.

Please send any questions about our meetings to: the KLUG
Webmasters<webmaster at kalamazoolinux.org>
