The default database is something completely written in java. I think
it's called gdb, but wouldn't swear to it. It's fairly basic, but it
does work as long as you have a properly-functioning java virtual
machine. With a little tweaking, OO.o can use other things including
mysql. I don't think Adabas from the 1.7 days is still available, though.
