When this machine boots I think you should have entries for Ubuntu and
Ubuntu recovery in your boot loader. If you choose recovery you should
bypass the windowing system and go to a console (black text-only thingy).
>From there you can run "sudo Xorg -config" (sans quotes, or something like
that) to reconfigure your video settings. 10?? is probably 1024 x 768
(that's the standard 4:3 value anyway)
