>Anybody have experience with AOL blocking e-mail from your domain?
>It would appear that e-mail from our work domain is being blocked by AOL
>and this is really making our HR manager angry. She seems to think that I
>can do something about this.
>The rest of us who use local ISP's or Earthlink or such have absolutely
>no problem sending work home via e-mail. Having spent a year in the
>trenches of Earthlink customer service I feel compelled to tell her one of
>three things. A) Close your AOL account, B) This is AOL's problem not our
>problem, or C) Let me offer you a free month.
>Obviously none of these suggestions are going to win me any points.
>But because I can't let an interesting problem sit for long...any
>suggestions?

So when sendmail tries to deliver a message to imreallyaman@aol.com what gets
recorded in the maillog? Should be easy to tell if they are actually plocking
service or if it is some strange DNS problem, etc...

Can you "telnet mailin-01.mx.aol.com 25"?

I've had a similair problem with irate AOL users on my networking THINKING their
mail didn't go through, when in fact it takes up to about four hours to show up.
