Yes, good point, except I was talking about the install program.

During the install process, if you select "upgrade" from an 
older Redhat installation, there is an option to convert your 
ext2 partitions to ext3, WITHOUT any loss of data.  Slick!

And, I forgot to mention, you now have the choice of GRUB or
LILO as your bootloader.  GRUB being the default.  Nice!
