How does it do this? Is there a server piece? Or is it all stored in a file somewhere?

"Flexible Calendaring and Collaboration: Ximian Evolution lets users effortlessly create one-time, all-day or recurring events, including on screen, email or sound reminders. Users can schedule and confirm group meetings, even with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes users. "

Also, they talk about an Exchange 2000 connector early next year. This would be a good transitory piece of software to move from the Windows client to a Linux client. I think it would be cool to remove the Exchange server dependancy too. :)

Linux now has a first-rate, and beautiful, e-mail and groupware client!
Even has support for Palm Pilots.

A possibly great presentation topic?! (Hint Hint).
