[KLUG Members] RH 7.2 RP3 Dialer Bug

While setting up that machine to dial prodigy (which works great no)..
I think I discovered a bug in RP3, or the Internet Wizardly thing.

As root I created the dialup account, which RP3 stored in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ppp0. But as a mere mortal I
couldn't see it (a common problem with mortals, BTW). So I created
another account by doing a copy in the wizardly thing (got prompted for
the root password before that would run). My new connection showed up
as a selection for the RP3 applett
(/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ppp1).

Turns out the permissions on ifcfg-ppp0 made it impossible for anyone
but root to read the file, even though I had checked "Let users
start/stop this duma-flopper". The ifcfg-ppp1 file could be read and
thus showed up as a selection.

Maybe this isn't a "bug", but it sure seems odd. Can anyone else
confirm this? If so, I volunteer to go whining and crying to Redhat.
