[KLUG Members] LTSP without DHCP

Why don't you setup the Redhat DHCP server with a one to one
relationship between the MAC address and IP address for the LTSP
clients? That way it won't conflict with your other DHCP server.

> I have setup my K12-Linux server, which as I understand it, is Red Hat with all the LTSP stuff and educational software bundled. In a perfect world, it seems that the server also provides addresses to the clients via DHCP. In my imperfect world, we already have a DHCP server running and I really can't mess with its configuration. Here's what I'd like to do:

I think I've challenged the thinking of certain people here, especially as licensing and support costs are in front of us right now. I guess it's sort of a Boogies thing only in a school. :)
