First off, RedHat _has_ a legitimate problem.

I think the solution is that RedHat, or the industry itself, should come
up with a name that all vendors can use, and register a ".org" domain
(and ".com" would be good as well) with the same name that people can
reference.  The page would detail that it is not RedHat, that any
references to RedHat are because it is originally based on there
releases and that there is absolutely _no_support_.  It should also
include links to various LUG sites, or lists of LUG sites, support info,
etc...

If no one else can think of a good name with a domain not already
registered, here's my suggestion:
   "You-Know-Who Linux"

Both "youknowwholinux.com" and "youknowwholinux.org" are available.
