Tonight Adam will be explaining the Kerberos V authentication system.
Kerberos V is a token based and heavily encrypted single-sign on
authentication system developed at MIT. It is now available on almost
every UNIX and UNIX-like operating system, and is the foundation of
Microsoft Windows 2000 security. Kerberos also enables encrypted
communication for the standard old network utilities such as telnet and
the r* family (rsh, rlogin, rcp, etc...)
