[KLUG Members] loud servers

Last night for the first time I turned off every server here in my office,
unhooked all the switches and basically cleaned up after 7 years of "There's
a spot, put it there..."

We have this Compaq Proliant 5500 server which untill last night, I never
knew how loud it was.  This server is loud.  It's got dual redundant power
supplies, a single one seems about double the size of the one I've got in my
box at home.

Anybody every sucesfully combated loud backgroud noise?  Do they make a
muffler for a computer?
