Put them in an enclosed space, a "glass room".  If they are out in the open the
constant noise will damage your hearing.  If the "glass room" is too noisy
install a Liebert climate control unit,  you'll never be able to hear the
servers over one of those! :)

Not that I've ever seen.  Most of the noise comes from cheap out of balance
fans,  I don't think you can "muffler" that.  I had a friend in High School who
flew ultralights,  the diffrence in noise between a "good" propellar and a
"cheap" one is INCREDIBLE.  Basically a poorly balanced fan/propellar spends a
good percentage of it's energy beating the living ^#&^%@)$ out of the
atmosphere,  resulting in lots of noise.
