This may not be all that useful, but here's my experience with that card:

I have installed perhaps 3 or 4 distros on my work laptop. slackware 7.1,
Mandrake 7.0, 7.2, and redhat (seawolf). Only on redhat did it work.
Period.
Here are my symptoms:
PCMCIA modules loaded.
Eth modules loaded.
Default route set.
Link light.

however, for some reason, it couldn't send out info. I checked
/proc/interrupts: That was okay. When I pinged from it, the light would
flash (sending data) but they wouldn't get to the destination. When I tried
to ping IT, from another machine, it's light flashed. For some reason,
there was a problem with the way it sent/received data. So, I guess I am
very intersted to know what is going on with That particular card and linux
as a whole. I have known 0 people to get that card working properly in
linux. Oh, and with Redhat: And fiddling with the kernel would blow it up.
The Network card simply wouldn't work. What an odd piece of electronics.
