I know this is not the usual KLUG Link of the Week fare, but
it may have some relevance to the folks who are working on
the Boogies project or other similar endeavor.

The author is a former worker at Netscape and now has started
up a nightclub in San Francisco. In his web page he provides
such specifics as the types and details of the many licenses
and permits needed to serve alcohol and dance (operate a
cabaret) in SF. But I digress...

He goes on to say:

"Since we're running a rather high-tech club here, I've written a
bunch of software to keep it all running. And we're giving it
away: here it is! Perhaps you'll find it useful.

This code is all Unix/Linux-specific: the DNA Lounge is a No
Microsoft Zone and proud of it.

This is not end-user stuff: if you're not a programmer or website
administrator, you won't find any of this stuff useful."
