How much firewall security is a Linksys router giving me. Its the
"Etherfast Cable/DSL Router" Model BEFSR41
(http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=20&grid=5).  The deal is
I know I could set up a BSD/LINUX/Windows box to do it that would be more
secure but how much more is the issue.  I'm sucking down enough juice in
this place (California)  that I really don't want to plug in another 200
Watt power supply if I don't have to.  I'll be running my primaty sercer,
Victoria (Slackware 7.1) as a web/email/ssh and maybe FTP server.  I have
a bunch of part lying around that would easily evolve into a 200MHz box if
I need it to.
