I beg to differ...I had ISDN for almost a year.  When I got it
installed the little tool they used to check the line said that I
didn't have a very good connection and that I would therefore only
get 56kbps instead of 64kbps on each channel (dual channel).

Apparently I'm just too far from the central office, or the wires
to my apartment were actually made from rolled-up tinfoil, or
something...
