[KLUG Members] NCPFS over IP

The man page for ncpmount indicates that if you use a -A [dns-name] option that
the NCPFS will go into a mode that will use UDP connections over IP
instead of requiring the IPX protocol. I've attempted to use that
options (yes, along with the -S [servername] option) and the netware
volume will still not mount without IPX configged.

Now that I've described the situation: Help? At my site this is the
first chance I've had to put Linux in a 'production' role. We have
migrated to pure IP on our LAN/WAN and while I already have the
go-ahead to have IPX on the linux box, I'd rather avoid it as that
would seem like a compromise.

The dns-name; as long as the box can resolve the name you provide to
an IP addy then that's enough right?

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. Tnx.
