OK, I've got an interesting problem!

We've all seen the kernel updates that are out (or should have) :-)

I ran up2date this morning an updated my RH 7.1 system. Here my problem....

As a precaution I check to see the LILO and the /boot dir are matching each
other. After running update -u my /boot/vmlinux-2.4.9-6 file is MISSING! LILO
is configured to boot it on my next reboot.

I do have up2date set to download kernel updates!

Well, since the file is missing I'm going to end up with a dead system.

Any ideas on getting vmlinux-2.4.9-6 so I can install it. It's been a LONG
time since I've messed with compiling a kernel (read I'll need to learn it
again).

>From what I can tell, LILO is properly configured to boot the 2.4.9-6 kernel
and all of the other files ARE there.

Any ideas / help is appricated.

P.S. Yes I know I can "flip" the .bak and live config so I can boot the
system.
