If you had money to waste, I would suggest laser.  You can achieve ATM
speeds, 99% reliable and secure.  Because I doubt you are in that
situtation, I suggest that you use Avaya Wireless to ethernet
(copper)converters.  They are easy to setup and maintain as well as having a
connection for an external antenna.  These are analogous to the fiber-copper
ethernet converters out there.  Security is addressed through WEP 64bit
encryption in the Silver card (128bit in Gold cards).  Yes, WEP was cracked
over a month ago, but if it matters, you can layer on that as well.
