Asterisk is great. I've "played" with it, but not used it in a day to day
basis. There are people who DO use it, and commerical support is available.
KLUG members are welcome to join the as-yet-not-announced project driftwood.
The driftwood team will attempt to build a primarily IP based conferencing box
supporting IAX and H.323 clients as well as, for testing at least, a single
analog connection. Contact the program directory (of thats me) if you have any
interest in this project.

I'd recommend the asterisk mail list for any specific questions, the real
developers frequently answer questions directly.
