Does the install guide cover things like spamin?

Interestingly, if I use the Ximian StarOffice packages the per-user install is
more or less 'silent', less intrusive than the OO per-user install. I wonder
if that is a Ximian difference (the provide a staroffice-skel) package or an SO
vs OO difference.... Has anyone installed "stock" Star Office 6.0?
