So much is. :-)  The other drop-in DHCP<->DynDNS is a set of perl
scripts that run every 5 seconds. <shudder>  On the one hand, it does
seem that the option to merge updates into batches can be useful for
busy sites, but on the other though I must say I can think of many neat
things to do with same-time DNS updates. For instance, if DHCP hands any
computer an IP, but only Samba sends updates to bind, any service set to
do reverse lookups won't serve you at all. Netfilter, too, can be set to
reject you, which means I can lock the accountless from the Internet.
