FreshRPMS.NET???

They've got a whole Apt repository of the official RedHat releases plus their
own RPM set. They've basically created something similiar to Debian (only not
quite as many packages, nor the same "packaging guidelines," but it's "good
enough" for me).

Even RedHat.COM has a link to them, although I think it would be in RedHat's
best interests to start subsidizing them.

MPlayer is the king of capabilities. You'll also find it on FreshRPMS.NET.

I usually get the Win32 codecs from the non-US MPlayer homepage (MPlayerHQ.HU).

Everything _but_ the Sorenson codec from Win32 seems to work with the players
that utilitize WINELIB, _although_ the MPlayer team was recently saying they've
got some things working with Sorenson now (haven't confirmed, could be heresay).

The reason why Microsoft is so successful is because they fooled
an overwhelming majority of people into thinking there is such a
thing as a "free lunch." The DOJ case has arisen from those
same consumers who won't accept the fact that they were respon-
sible for locking themselves into only one company's products.
