I have it on good authority (although I've never tried it personally)
that you can disconnect the power supply fan in a Pentium PC running
FloppyFW.  I guess it doesn't use enough horsepower to generate heat.

Disclaimer:  Try at your own risk, and don't blame me if you smoke that
$5 Pentium box!  :-)   And of course, you shouldn't be mucking with
power supplies if you don't know what you're doing. (and don't forget to
unplug it first :)
